Life's So Simple

"What profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul"
The Holy Bible speaks.
But, people continue
to seize more riches, more fame and power
in ruthless endeavor.
Why worry when you don't have riches,
Why worry when you don't have the fame,
Why worry when you don't have the power,
When life's so simple.

In fact, we have everything...
In all aspects in abundance.
But, what did men do?

Grab anything and simply lose everything!
Or live a life that's simple.
A challenge hard to meet?
What if you gain the whole world?
What if you gain nothing?
The answers lie in your hands.

Again, thanks for all the good wishes and good thoughts sent to me everyday. 

23rd Post: Prayer Offered from a Friend & Colleague on Very Opportune Times

It is indeed a blessing to receive inspirational messages, gospel readings from friends either via email or texts messages. I am indeed grateful. It keeps me going everyday. Many are praying for me, but, would want to share with you this one. What an opportune time to offer our intentions and prayers! 
  .    


Yes, May 1, Sunday is one of the occasions that we have to be thankful for: An opportunity to pray for everybody and hold on to the opportune time of the Occasions and the Feast Days that came. 


To qoute: "These glorious feasts  like stars in the sky that shine on us are worthy  indeed of spiritual and corporal celebration today in a most holy and venerable manner".


"Ermie, I prayed for your speedy recovery and healing/ yesterday 2nd Sunday of Easter; Solemnity of our Lord Jesus Christ of Divine Mercy; Memorial of St. Joseph, the Worker our Patriarch, a humble carpenter, foster father of our Lord, most chaste spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary; Beatification of His Holiness Pope John Paul 11. These glorious feasts  like stars in the sky that shine on us are worthy  indeed of spiritual and corporal celebration today in a most holy and venerable manner. May Divine Providence grant us our petitions and bless our sentiments and intentions in health, joy and peace in the grace in the Lord. Wishing you a blessed lifetime!" With the prayers offered by her on these special feasts and occasions and the continuous prayers being offered to me by all of you. I am claiming total victory, healing and recovery. 


God Bless US all.Please know that my heart will always be overwhelmed with all your goodness. I may not be able to express how thankful and grateful I am ALWAYS. I can feel the graces of the prayers. 


Hope to be worthy of all of these. Deep in my heart, I will forever be grateful.

Chaplet of St. Pio

Oh Jesus, fill of grace and charity,

victim for sinners,

so impelled by Your love for us

that You willed to die on the cross,

I humbly entreat Thee

to glorify in heaven and on earth,

the servant of God,

Padre Pio of Pietcelcina,

who generously participated in

Your sufferings,

who loved Thee so much

and laboured so faithfully

for the  Glory of the Your Heavenly Father

and for the good of souls.

With confidence,

I beseech Thee to grant me,

through this intercession,

the grace of…

21st Post: Act of Entrustment to St. Pio

Act of Entrustment to St. Pio

O  glorious St. Pio of Pietrelcina, the saint of this new millennium, you are a friend, consoler of our soul and help of us sinners. You understand us so well for you know what it means to suffer. 

To you we entrust our well-being and that of our loves ones;

To you we entrust our spirit that we may be able  to endure the pains we carry in our heart; 

To you we entrust the request of presenting our souls to the Virgin of Grace to obtain eternal salvation from the Lord;

To you we entrust our plea of intercession to obtain from the Divine Goodness the grace… (Mention your intentions) which we so ardently desire.

Welcome us under your protection, defend us from the snares of evil and above all intercede for us before the Most High so that through the forgiveness of sins we may persevere in doing good.  Through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Glory be to the Father…. ( 3 times)
